I qualified in all aspects of Hairdressing and Beauty Therapy 20 years ago at Huddersfield Technical College and have worked as both a

people in my trade around West Yorkshire, so as well as offering a Hair & Beauty service I will be doing a lot of research and a few

I love cutting and colouring hair with both traditional techniques as well as the more modern approach with
alternative highlighting patterns and slicing to give the most up to date looks. Whether you want fine highlights or lowlights to
give a really natural shiny effect or would like to make a bold statement of colour, I will be happy to give a full consultation,
free of charge, to discuss your requirements and patch test your skin to make sure that you will not have an allergic reaction. If
you find a style that you like in a magazine, do show it, as it is not always easy to explain what you mean. I will also be able to
tell you if your hair would work with that style as hair type has a lot to do with it.
The beauty treatments available are your regular salon treatments, including waxing, manicures, pedicures, lash
and brow tinting and trimming. Hair-up and make overs for Weddings & Special Occasions as well as those extra special touches such as
nail art and individual false lashes.

For you, as the Bride, it is important that you have a trial before the Wedding day so that you know exactly how you will
look on the day and we can go through a full consultation of your requirements.
From the start of your planning it is a good idea to assess your hair, skin and nails and start taking good care of them,
try eating healthier and drinking plenty of water, treat yourself to a facial and get advice on how to care for your skin, decide what
colour you would like your hair if any and have a skin sensitivity test so that you know you there will be no reaction. If you would
like to grow your hair it is a good idea to have it cut towards the style you are wanting to achieve and you can make a start on getting
your nails into good condition by having regular manicures, pedicures too if you will be wearing sandals. Special Bridal Packages, Prom
Packages and Beauty Packages are available, please ask for a leaflet, or I would be happy to provide a tailor made one to your
requirements (savings are approx. 10%).
Even if you don't wear make-up it can make a huge difference to your final look, your make-up can look very natural but
enhance your features and you will look fantastic on your photographs, which you will look back on for many years. Make-up is important
as wearing a all white or ivory can either totally drain your colour or fade your features giving a bland appearance and you want to look
the very best you can.

Whether you would like your hair down, up or half up there are many styles, start collecting pictures in magazines of the
type of styles you like so that when you have your trial I have an idea of what you like, it may be that you like the front of one and
back of another. I will also be able to tell you whether your hair will go into the styles.
I can offer a full Wedding Hair & Beauty Service tailor made to your specific needs, I am also happy to provide hair
and make-up if your own hairdresser is not available on your Wedding day.
